Arriving & leaving
We’ll meet in person whenever possible. If you’re running late, we can also arrange for a key box.
Finca Lavanda is small, hand-built, and quietly off-grid. None of what follows is heavy — it is the way we have learned to share the place so that everyone, including the next guest after you, has the same soft welcome you did.

Music inside is welcome at any hour. Outside, please keep voices low after eleven.
Smoke clings to lime plaster and linen. There is a ceramic ashtray on the south terrace; please use it, and don’t leave butts in the garden — they kill the lavender.
No glass on the deck. Children under 10 with a grown-up only. The skimmer is by the lavender bed if you spot a leaf.
The house drinks from a 12,000-litre cistern, refilled by spring rain. Long showers are fine; an hour-long one isn’t. The large garden is not watered across its entire area — that would be a huge waste of water.
Solar covers everything in a normal day. On overcast days, high-power devices (washing machine, hairdryer, dishwasher, oven) should be used thoughtfully.
One bin under the sink for general rubbish. Plastic, paper and glass can all be separated — the dedicated recycling containers are next to Venta La Raya.
A calm dog is more welcome than most humans. Please let us know in advance, keep them off the linen, and don’t leave them home alone for long — the goats next door object loudly.
Old houses move. Doors swell, taps drip, the front gate sometimes sticks. A small mishap is not a problem — write or call us. We only ask that you don’t try to fix it yourself with tools from the shed.
The finca is built for the four of you and a few invited friends for a long lunch. Larger gatherings, photo shoots, and events need to be agreed in writing before you book.
“Leave the house as you found it, and we can all continue to enjoy Finca Lavanda.”— Lukas & Nicky
